The apex court's order came after the advocate appearing for the former chief minister's wife, Dangwimsai Pul, said Chief Justice of India J S Khehar should not have ordered this issue to be taken up in the judicial side as there are serious allegations.
Punishment under the new law is a jail term from one and five years, and a fine of Rs 15,000.
The advocates will be permitted to remain present at the time of pronouncement of judgment.
Insisting that all laws were followed in a "completely transparent manner", Vadra said, "Neither me nor anyone associated with me has anything to hide."
